Shallow spiritual wading can lead to serious self-aggrandizement, and super exaltation of hyper individualization, or just straight up Messiah Syndrome. There’s conceit (which is not always self-love and certainly not Self-love) that lays in wait for us if we are not disciplined.

After this talk I came across one of my favs, Keoni Hanalei, saying that within his lineage, protocols are important (meaning discipline, including spiritual). He says living in a world of contrast means we can be shattered and so it is discipline that allows us to form or align with pattern.

“i” mention “my teacher” in this cast. One of them is Hareesh. Is the one “i” meant. His new book “Near Enemies of the Truth” is something i recommend as required reading. If we are truly on a mission of evolution and spiritual liberation, we must be aware of the nuances of that which holds us back from ever greater expansion and connection.
