Yes, yes, "the music." But what I thought we liked about it all was also the "good vibes," which, to me, is also translated as "we are One" or "unity consciousness." The sense that we are of one essence, one Heart. Therefore, through this lensing (meaning, our parties), the potential for the world really could be a more peaceful, loving, and respectful interaction with all beings, which seemed modeled from our raves. Or, that's what it seems like when we're there and we're high. Anyway, aside from the "U," which stands for unity and its derivatives, these three other words (of course) form the acronym of PLUR.
That said, let me say a few things that should not be shocking from a PLUR(R) advocate. (The extra "R" I throw in for "responsibility"). War is not PLUR. Violence is not PLUR. And Unity consciousness has no exceptions. It cannot be anything but the space to hold compassion for those who commit egregious acts (as it holds absolutely everything), but make no mistake, it never endorses them.
