Bee Here Now

Dystraxion vs. the Present Moment

The Now will always include thoughts of Past and Future. However, both of those will always be included in the Now. It is the Now that only exists. Truly being in the present moment then means we might always have thoughts that include thoughts that might seem to evade our present moment-ness. It’s not that we have to shame ourselves for not being only absorbed in what is presenting in the material form in any given moment. It’s to try to live more of a reflective life, whereby we are not possessed in entirety by delusions of the past or illusions of the future. If emotions are strong, the present moment might be overtaken by that emotion as that is what is happening in that moment. If we allow ourselves to be with that emotion, it will pass or integrate and not manifest later in

In this Tantra i teach, strong emotions both good or bad are seen equally. This is meant that they can both contribute toward creating situations whereby we become obsessed or possessed by “thoughtstreams” that take us away from being fully awake to the totality of any given moment.

5 ways we evade the present moment

  1. Fantasy - dreaming of possible futures whereby we believe we would be more happy

  2. Fear and anxiety - worrying about possible future that may have scary outcomes

  3. Reverie - remembering the past through rose-colored

    glasses

  4. Guilt - returning to thoughts of the past through the lens of regret

  5. Distraction - paying attention to one thing and not the whole of reality as it is in the moment
